Cancellation Policy
The reservation may be cancelled free of charge up to 31 days before the arrival date. If you cancel between 30 and 15 days before the arrival date, 50% of the rental amount will be refunded. From 14 days prior to arrival, no refund will be issued, except for cleaning and tourist tax, which will be refunded in full.
This policy has exceptions in cases of force majeure; in such cases, supporting documentation will be required, such as a medical certificate, etc.
Security Deposit
The security deposit must be paid by bank transfer 7 days before arrival (sending proof of payment to rental@seamountrentals.com ). The refund will be made by bank transfer within a maximum of 7 days after the end of your stay, provided that no damage has been caused during your stay and the apartment inventory has been verified. The refund will be made to the bank account previously provided when completing the customer form. The deposit may be partially or fully retained if damage caused by the guest is found in the apartment. Additionally, a charge of €50 will be deducted if the apartment is not returned in reasonable condition, as specified in the rules (leaving the kitchen dirty and untidy, moving furniture, leaving garbage, etc.).
Tourist Tax
It must be paid by bank transfer 7 days before arrival. The amount is €1.75 per night and per person from 16 years old (children under 16 are exempt). This amount is not included in the price “as it depends on the number of adults.” Once paid, proof of payment must be sent to rental@seamountrentals.com
Payment Method
Reservations made through the website must be paid by bank transfer, paying 50% of the total price at the time of booking. The remaining amount, i.e., 50% of the reservation + security deposit + tourist tax, must be paid 15 days before arrival. It is essential to send proof of payment to rental@seamountrentals.com to confirm the reservation. If there are less than 14 days before arrival and full payment has not been received, the reservation may be cancelled. Therefore, it is very important to respect payment deadlines and send proof of payment. Once the first payment is made, the reservation is automatically confirmed and the calendar is blocked. At Sea Mount Rentals, we use a fully secure and confidential payment gateway. We use a security protocol employed by internet servers to safely transmit sensitive information. Brokerage fees are already included in the price. We manage the stay throughout; we are not mere intermediaries.
Check In
Check-in time on the day of arrival is from 5:00 PM. If the accommodation is ready earlier, you will be notified via WhatsApp, SMS or email so you can enter earlier if you wish. A few days before arrival, an email will be sent with all the information regarding key collection and arrival instructions.
Check Out
Check-out time is no later than 11:00 AM. Keys must be left on the table, the door closed, and a WhatsApp, SMS or email sent to inform that the apartment has been vacated. If you wish to leave later, you must contact us and we will inform you if it is possible and whether any supplement applies.
Parties / Events
The accommodation is located in a residential building, so respect for neighbors’ rest is essential. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 9:00 AM. Parties, loud music and/or events are strictly prohibited. In case of complaints or police involvement, Sea Mount Rentals may evict guests regardless of the time. The reservation holder is responsible for ensuring that all occupants comply with the rules.
Smoking
SMOKING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED INSIDE ALL OUR ACCOMMODATIONS.
Baby Cot Kit
We provide travel cot kits equipped with a mattress, as well as high chairs. If needed, please indicate it during booking or notify us at least 5 days before arrival.
Identity Document / Passport
Before your arrival at the accommodation, it is mandatory to check in online for all guests by accessing your booking profile (we will give you access once you have confirmed the booking).
Cleaning
On departure day, the accommodation must be left in a condition similar to that found on arrival. Leaving garbage, dirty dishes or moving furniture is not allowed. Failure to comply will result in a deduction from the deposit for additional cleaning.
Change of Accommodation
If due to force majeure (serious breakdowns, flooding, fire, etc.) the reserved accommodation cannot be provided, Sea Mount Rentals will offer an alternative of similar characteristics subject to availability. Otherwise, or if the client does not accept the change, the reservation may be cancelled with a full refund of the amount paid, except for the part corresponding to days already enjoyed if the incident occurs during the stay. Sea Mount Rentals assumes no further liability.
Occupancy
Maximum occupancy, number of beds and distribution are indicated in the apartment listing. All children count towards maximum capacity, except babies aged 0–2 sleeping in a cot.
Pets
Some accommodations allow pets (indicated in the listing). You must always inform us. Pets are not allowed on beds or sofas. Failure to comply may result in a deduction from the deposit. Where pets are not allowed, no exceptions apply.
Reservation Date Changes
Any change to the reservation dates, both check-in and check-out, must be communicated in writing to rental@seamountrentals.com indicating the desired change, the name of the reservation holder, the name of the accommodation and a contact phone number.
We will contact you as soon as possible to inform you of availability.
It is not possible to modify the dates of a reservation within the cancellation penalty period.
All our apartments are tourist-use properties regulated by Law 13/2002 of June 21, on tourism in Catalonia, and comply with all legal requirements to be offered to guests.
In case of violation of any of the above conditions, Sea Mount Rentals reserves the right to require immediate departure from the accommodation and terminate the rental contract, without the client being able to request a refund of the reservation amount (either partial or total), nor any type of compensation.
